State Road 10 east of Bass Lake will be closed for maintenance for the next several days. INDOT crews are chip and fog sealing the highway between County Road E 500 S and State Road 23. Doing so preserves the road surface.
INDOT’s official detour uses U.S. 35 to State Road 8 to State Road 23 to get around the closure, as state route detours must be along state-maintained roadways only. INDOT officials note the work is weather dependent. It’s due to wrap up July 26th.
