The City of Knox is bringing back the Peppermint Parade, but it’s looking for help from local residents to do so. The city’s holding a meeting for potential volunteers tomorrow evening at 6:00 at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center.
City officials say they need people to form a committee to help plan and organize the parade, as well as other activities. Residents who don’t have time to serve on a committee are still invited to attend tomorrow’s meeting to share their ideas.
Mayor Dennis Estok says the Peppermint Parade is tentatively scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
