North Judson Council Happy with Progress at Downtown Building

While the Town of North Judson is looking to crack down on unsafe buildings, the town council says it’s happy with the progress being made at one property. The owner of 214 Lane Street gave an update to the town council Monday.

Clerk-Treasurer Alicia Collins says he’s doing all the improvements himself in order to save money, making for a slow process. However, town officials are satisfied that work is progressing.

The town council decided not to intervene further, as long as the owner continues with the work and updates the town on his progress.
