The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department says a theft investigation has led to the arrest of two individuals on meth-related charges.

It started on October 12th when deputies were tasked with assisting the White County Sheriff’s Department in locating stolen items from that area. Pulaski County officers were led to an address in the 13-thousand block of County Road 550 North in Medaryville.

Staying at the residence were 51-year-old James Miller and 26-year-old Sylvia Burns of Francesville. While on scene, officers allegedly located meth manufacturing materials and the property stolen in the White County investigation.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was able to help process the items located at the residence, according to a news release.

Miller and Burns were taken into custody on a Level 5 Felony Charge of Dealing Methamphetamine and a Level 6 Felony Charge of Possession of Meth. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department noted in their report the investigation is ongoing.
