Oregon-Davis Finalizing Plans for Remediation Program, Updated Technology Agreement

Oregon-Davis-Jr_Sr-BuildingThe Oregon-Davis School Corporation is finalizing preparations for its new remediation program.

Superintendent Don Harman says the extra academic help will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays between January 10 and March 23. “We have a partnership with our youth club, that they’ll transport the students one day and we’ll pay for transportation the second day. So transportation will be paid,” he said. “And those students are being identified currently, and parents are being notified.”

Additionally, an updated technology agreement with parents and students was approved by the Oregon-Davis School Board last week. Harman says it adds some more detail about the use of the corporation’s one-to-one devices, which include iPads and MacBooks. The agreement also lists the replacement costs for lost or damaged devices and chargers.
