Community Input Sought on Plan for Older Adults

Starke County residents will have an opportunity Monday to weigh in on a proposed two-year plan to meet the needs of local older adults. Community Services of Stake County and Northwest Indiana Community Action are hosting a feedback forum to gather input from caregivers and other stakeholders. They want to hear about the needs of older adults as well as any barriers to accessing those services.

The forum will take place Monday, Feb. 27 from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Community Services of Starke County office at 311 East Culver Road.

Written comments may also be made through March 24, 2017 at 5 p.m. to the Director of Planning and Business Development, Northwest Indiana Community Action, 5240 Fountain Drive, Crown Point, IN 46307, faxed to 219-794-1860 or emailed to aschoon@nwi-ca.org.
