Knox School Corporation Realizes Technology Savings

The Knox Community School Corporation has realized significant savings by dropping the insurance on their one-to-one technology devices. Superintendent A.J. Gappa says they’re making repairs to the computers in-house and saved more than $34,000 last year in the process.

The school board last week also received three bids for the upcoming five-year copier lease. Gappa says current vendor Adams-Remco offered the lowest price, with considerable savings anticipated. The school board took the bids under advisement with action anticipated at a future meeting.
