The cafeteria staff at the Culver Community School Corporation has been busy during this spring break to offer children healthy meals.
Carin Clifton, Food Services Director at the Culver schools, said about 10 children a day were served breakfast while up to 25 children took advantage of lunch during last week’s first week of spring break.
Meals will continue to be served this week. Clifton said breakfast will be served at the Culver Elementary School from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. while lunch is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. through Friday, April 7. At the Culver Middle School, breakfast will be available from 7:45 a.m. to 8:05 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. through Thursday, April 6.
Any student who is 18 years of age and younger is welcome to partake in these meals. Students do not need to be a part of intersession remediation to take advantage of this service.
