The West Central School Corporation has received a couple of grants to assist with elementary school literacy skills.
The school board last week acknowledged the receipt of a 2016-17 early intervention grant. Superintendent Don Street says it provides literacy support to students in first and second grades.
West Central also received a grant from the Pulaski Alliance for Community Education, better known as P.A.C.E., for reading and literacy programs at the elementary school.
Street also told the school board last week that part two of the annual ISTEP test will be administered starting April 17th.
