The Summer Food Service Program will assist Culver and area students at six different sites this summer.
Culver Community School Food Services Director Carin Clifton says children ages 18 and younger and people with disabilities who are still enrolled in K-12 educational programming are welcome to eat free meals this summer. She encourages students to take part in this opportunity to receive a nutritional meal. All meals must be eaten on site.
Breakfast and lunch will be served at the Culver Community High School beginning today until June 16. Breakfast is from 7:45 to 9 a.m. and lunch is 11:45 a.m. -12:05 p.m. Breakfast only will be served June 19-June 30 and certain dates in July.
Culver Elementary School will also be the host site for breakfast from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. from now until July 28.
Free lunch for children will be offered at the Aubbenaubee Township Community Building today through July 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Lunch will be offered at the Ora Gospel Chapel Church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. beginning today until July 14.
Two public libraries are also participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Lunch at the Monterey-Tippecanoe Public Library is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. until July 14 while the Culver-Union Township Public Library is serving lunch from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning today through July 14.
All times are in the Eastern Time Zone.
Adults may also stop by these locations to grab a nutritious meal for a small fee. Breakfast will cost $1.50 and lunch is $3.00.
