The new performance stage in Wythogan Park will be a venue for outdoor movies throughout the summer. The first film will be shown Wednesday, June 14th. “The Secret Life of Pets” will be presented at 8:30 p.m.
There’s no charge, and parking is also free. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating. The concession stand will be open for refreshment purchases.
The Knox Park Department plans to show a different, family-friendly movie every other week. The next scheduled film is “Angry Birds” on June 28th.
Additional movies will be shown on July 12 and 26 and Aug. 2 and 16. The movies themselves have not been announced at this time.
