The Pulaski County EMS Department has gotten approval to replace its oldest ambulance. EMS Director Nikki Lowry says the ambulance needs over $5,000 in repairs.
She told the county council and commissioners last week that she didn’t want to spend that money if the county planned to get rid of it next year, anyway. Council members agreed that Lowry should budget money for a new ambulance next year, rather than make the necessary repairs.
