The West Central School Board last week approved a pay raise for Superintendent Don Street.
They also approved contract revisions for the 2017-2018 school year. It is standard procedure to review each administrator contract in either June or July. Street received a raise following a May public hearing on his proposed contract.
Athletic director Wes Allen, elementary principal Dan Zylstra and high school principal Patrick Culp will have changes to their pay announced at a later date based on ISTEP scores, evaluations, and school accountability.
Here is a look at pay for superintendents throughout our area:
West Central- $98,500
Eastern Pulaski- $108,000
Knox-$101,467
North Judson-San Pierre- $99,700
Oregon Davis- $95,000
Culver- $105,000
These salaries all come with generous health packages.
