Culver Farmers’ Market Can Now Accept WIC & Senior FMNP Vouchers

Proper nutrition is especially important for older and younger individuals who are more susceptible to illness due to their weaker immune systems. More people have access to fresh fruits, vegetables and other locally grown goods since the Culver Farmers’ Market can now accept WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers.

Three vendors are currently capable of taking WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers and more are working on it. The approved food list contains a variety of fruits and vegetables and can be found here.

The Culver Farmers’ Market takes place in the Town Park on Tuesday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m. [ET] until August 29 and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. [ET] through October 21.
