Truck traffic may soon be restricted through the Town of Medaryville.
The town council is working on a truck route ordinance, according to Deputy Clerk Jackie Hines. “We just paved two new streets, and a lot of truck traffic has been going down those streets lately, since we paved it,” she explains. “They’re just concerned that it might tear away our roads that we got the grants and spent quite a bit of money on to fix.”
Discussions are expected to continue during future council meetings.
