Oregon-Davis Telehealth Center Ribbon Cutting Tonight

The Oregon-Davis School Corporation will cut the ribbon on its new “telehealth center” this evening. The new facility will let O-D students be evaluated remotely by a nurse practitioner in Knox, thanks to an agreement with HealthLinc. Superintendent Don Harman has said the goal is to reduce the amount of school students miss due to illness and to save parents the difficulty of having to take kids to the doctor.

Tonight’s ribbon cutting will take place at 6:00 at Oregon-Davis Elementary School, before the regular school board meeting at 6:30. Board members are expected to begin discussing the corporation’s 2018 budget. They will also consider a policy for distributing Teacher Appreciation Grants.
