The Francesville Fall Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary this weekend. The parade steps off at 2:00 this afternoon, and the Nightshift Band will take the stage at 4:30.
A petting zoo will be open throughout the day. Today’s festivities will wrap up with a fireworks display at dusk. Tomorrow’s highlights include an auto show, as well as performances from the Winamac High School Choral group and the West Central Music Department.
Throughout the event, the Moving Wall will be on display. It’s a half-size touring replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Carnival rides will be open all weekend, as will arts, crafts, and flea market vendors.
