When the 2018 Salary Ordinance was brought before the council, Mayor Estok asked for the members to provide any remaining questions or concerns they may have but they conferred and agreed that the ordinance was thoroughly covered in past meetings.

The final reading of the 2018 Salary Ordinance received council approval, resulting in a three percent increase across the board, except for the part-time police department which saw a raise from $14 an hour to $18 an hour through a special request from Police Chief Harold Smith.
