The lockdown initiated as a precautionary action at the Knox Community School Corporation Monday morning was lifted early Monday afternoon.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart told WKVI News that a phone call came into the corporation where an individual reportedly caused administrators to take action to protect the students and staff within the corporation. The lockdown procedure was just a precaution and no students were in immediate danger.
Knox City Police Department officers were stationed at the school to ensure safety and to look into the situation.
