After four months of searching, the Pulaski County Commissioners have finally found a new member for the Star City Sewer Board. Mike Reid was unanimously appointed to the sewer board during Monday’s commissioners meeting. The seat became open last spring, but no one expressed interest in filling it until now.
In other business Monday, the commissioners continued reviewing the county’s printer and copier leases with IT Director Matt Voltz. They opted to purchase a new printer for the Veterans Service Office, rather than renew a lease that had expired. Quotes are also being sought for a new printer for the Sheriff’s Department, and Voltz plans to move an unneeded printer from the Auditor’s Office to Superior Court.
