Winamac Council Adopts 2018 Budget

The Town of Winamac has formally adopted its 2018 budget. A budget ordinance was passed by the town council Monday.

It calls for a General Fund of over $1 million and a Park Fund of over $137,000, with a total budget of just under $1.6 million. Like other Pulaski County communities, Winamac has to deal with was an unanticipated drop in county income tax revenues.

Winamac’s 2018 budget now goes to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance for final approval.
