Knox High School students have been rehearsing for about six weeks and this weekend they will premiere their play Icebergs in the KHSAuditorium.
Director Terill Hahn described Icebergs as a drama and mentioned that some of the content may not be appeal to a younger audience.
She explained, “It has a few mature themes, it’s about a group of high school students who are stuck together for awhile and they share the problems in their lives.”
Hahn went on, “There’s nothing graphic or anything but kids younger than sixth grade probably wouldn’t be that interested. There might be some topics that we discuss that parents may not be comfortable with yet.”
The show will debut at 7 p.m. on Saturday and the Sunday matinee will be at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door and they cost $5 each.
