The Knox Community School Corporation may soon be looking into some facility upgrades.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart says he discussed the issue with the school board Monday. “The board gave me the go-ahead to bring in a couple architects, two or three architects, for our next board meeting,” he says, “to talk about conducting a facilities study here at Knox, to look at our facilities and determine a priority list, as to what needs to be repaired, completed, and constructed in the upcoming future.”
He says there are already a few concerns. “Our high school roof needs to be repaired and replaced, as a big-ticket item. And then there will be a wish list that will be developed after the firm gets done conducting the facilities study.”
A work session with the architects is planned, after the board’s November 20 meeting.
