The Knox Community School Corporation expects to save some money on insurance costs. “Liberty Mutual Insurance is our liability and property insurance carrier, and they have dropped their rates slightly from what we were paying last year,” Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart told the school board last week. “I just wanted to bring that to the board’s attention. I believe it was about $6,000 less, and we went ahead and went forward with the new contract with those folks.”
Reichhart believes this is the third year in a row that insurance rates have dropped.
