The Hamlet Town Council has formally recognized Brad Hazelton as the Hamlet-Davis Township fire chief. Hazelton has already been leading the department for the past few months.
During Wednesday’s town council meeting, he reported that the fire department held its elections a few weeks ago. Council members then decided to affirm the department’s selection of Hazelton as fire chief for the next year.
