Knox School Administrator Resigns from Administrative Responsibilities, Will Remain As Teacher

A Knox school administrator is stepping down from some of his duties at the end of the school year.

David Miller has resigned from his administrative responsibilities, according to Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart. “He’s currently helping us at Knox Middle School,” Reichhart explains. “He helps us supervise athletics. He does lunch room supervision. He also attends evening activities at the high school and supervises those high school activities, as necessary, and serves as an administrator when we might be short in the office, when our administrators may be out of the building.”

Reichhart says the Knox School Board accepted Miller’s resignation from those specific duties, during Monday’s meeting. “There is an ECA position, on our extracurricular, for a middle school athletic director, but with the times being a little bit tighter, we’re just changing some things around and administrative duties around,” Reichhart says. “So that’s the reason why we’re going this direction.”

Miller’s resignation as an administrator will take effect in June of 2018. However, Reichhart says Miller will continue in his role as teacher.
