The West Central School Corporation had some leftover money, at the end of the 2017 budget year.
Superintendent Don Street says the school board put some of that in the corporation’s Rainy Day Fund. “We had a reduction of appropriations to the 2017 General Fund,” he said. “We transferred some money, $210,000, into our Rainy Day Fund, from our Capital Projects Fund $200,000, and $10,000 from Bus Replacement into Rainy Day Fund, a total of $210,000.”
The West Central School Board unanimously approved those financial items during last week’s meeting.
