The Winamac Park Board continues exploring the possibility of adding a splash pad to the Town Park. Board members will discuss a possible survey on the splash pad idea when they meet tonight.
The park board has been looking at a few cheaper projects to pursue, now that the town council has pulled its support of the swimming pool rebuilding project, at least for now. Meanwhile, efforts to build the pool without town funding continue.
Other topics on tonight’s Winamac Park Board agenda include the Town Park’s Artesian Well, the use of the stage in the back of the park, and snow and ice removal. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:00 EST at the Winamac Municipal Utility Complex.
