Pulaski County Emergency Medical Services may soon learn the fate of one of its ambulances. It was significantly damaged back in December, but the insurance provider was reluctant to send it back to Iowa, so the original builder could assess the damage.
But EMS Director Bryan Corn told the county council and commissioners last week the insurance provider has finally agreed to cover the cost. “I contacted a trucking company. Hopefully, one day this week, that truck will be gone,” he said. “It’s going to go to Arrow Manufacturing in Iowa. The company who built that truck is going to tear into that truck and look at it, and find out if it needs to be totaled or if it is fixable.”
Pulaski County EMS has experienced numerous ambulance issues over the past year.
