One person was arrested Wednesday afternoon after reportedly striking a mother and her daughter with a vehicle as they were crossing the street at the crosswalk in the student drop-off area at the Knox Elementary School.
According to Knox City Police Chief Harold Smith, an investigation revealed that 21-year-old Kaitlyn Bradley, of Knox, allegedly drove the 2007 maroon Saturn that was involved in the incident. She was arrested on two preliminary counts each of failure to stop after an accident involving bodily injury and criminal recklessness.
