No significant cuts are anticipated in this year’s budget for the West Central School Corporation.
Superintendent Don Street said the budget order from the Department of Local Government Finance was reviewed by the school board members last week and some adjustments were made, but no significant cuts were made.
The board members looked over the 2017 ending cash balances as well as utility expenses. Street did note that the wind turbine is producing positive electricity numbers for the corporation.
