
The worst may be over, but the risk of flooding remains. Flood warnings are still in effect for some local rivers, according to the National Weather Service.
The Tippecanoe River near Ora and Winamac is expected to crest once again Saturday evening. River levels remain below where they were last week, but there’s still the possibility of minor to moderate flooding. The Tippecanoe River is predicted to fall below flood stage Wednesday.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents not to drive through flooded areas and not to let children play near flood waters.
