North Judson Police Officer Rico Simpson and his K9 partner Jimy are heading into their fourth week of training at Vohne Liche Kennels today. Town Marshal Kelly Fisher will provide the latest K9 update, as well as any additional police business, during her report at tonight’s town council meeting.
Members will also revisit the topic of cemetery mowing bids. The bid advertisement was placed in local publications earlier this month. At the request of the council members, copies were also sent to those who have bid on the contract in the past. Bids will be accepted until April 2nd, according to Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe.
With the assembly of the stage cover taking place at Norwayne Field, members will likely discuss the recent developments at the park. Additional department reports and any necessary legal updates will also be presented.
Tonight’s meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at North Judson Town Hall.
