Potholes in Francesville to be Repaired Soon

The pothole problem will be fixed soon in the Town of Francesville.

Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett said the road blemishes have been a problem for some time. The Francesville Town Council this week approved the work to be done with a contractor to remedy the issue as soon as weather allows.

Potholes are caused by the expansion and contraction of ground water after the water has entered into the ground under the pavement. Traffic helps break up the pavement that forms potholes. Many crews have been out filling the road hazards with cold patch asphalt as they can.
