An event that hasn’t been offered at North Judson-San Pierre for some time will be making a come back next month, according to Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin.
“Several years ago, there was an elementary school fun fair.” Dr. Zupin explained, “In fact, a lot of our parents remembered that, and remembered good times with that, so they wanted to bring that back.”
At Tuesday night’s NJSP school board meeting, Jennifer Radtke, a member of the Blue Jay Strategic Planning Group, provided information about the planned revival of the Blue Jay Fun Fair.
Dr. Zupin said the group has been working hard on organizing and planning. She added that several local businesses and community members contributed monetary donations to assist with funding the event.
The Blue Jay Fun Fair will return to the elementary school with a variety of games, prizes and food on April 13th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission to the event is free and tickets that can be purchased to play the games.
