Eastern Pulaski School Board Approves Middle School Math Textbooks

Winamac Middle School students will soon be getting new Math textbooks.

Superintendent Dan Foster says the textbook adoption was approved by the Eastern Pulaski School Board last week. “A couple years ago, Indiana was in Common Core and then we were out pulling out of Common Core, and so the Math textbook at the middle school was kind of delayed,” he explains. “They just wanted to take some time and get through everything, and so they did that.”

The school opted to choose the “Go Math!” series of textbooks from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. The total cost will be nearly $36,000 for the six-year subscription cycle.
