The Eastern Pulaski School Board has approved the list of summer school classes that will be offered at Winamac High School this year. Students will be able to take Physical Education and Economics classes this summer, according to Superintendent Dan Foster.
He says the Economics class will be a blend of online and classroom instruction. Other options will be available through the Warrior Academy, “which is mostly credit recovery, but every now and then, we’re able to offer a few electives through there,” Foster explains. “But with summer school funding, we have to be careful because we do have to average 15 students per class that we offer during the summer, so we have to be careful with that.”
The summer school offerings were approved during Monday’s school board meeting.
