The Hamlet Town Council members learned last week that Davis Township is teaming up with the town for this year’s Hamlet town-wide yard sale. The sale days are May 4 and May 5.
For a $20 fee, residents can set up individual yard sales by the James R. Hardesty Community Center in Hamlet. The fee will go toward after school programs at the Oregon-Davis School Corporation.
Two sign up days are set for Saturday, April 7 and Saturday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT at the community center at 15 W. Indiana in Hamlet.
Otherwise, Hamlet residents who want to participate in the town-wide yard sale will not be charged a permit fee to hold sales on May 4 and May 5.
