Knox City Council meetings for the month of May had to be rescheduled so Mayor Dennis Estok filled council members in on the changes when they met Tuesday night.
Typically, Knox officials hold their city council meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. However, in May, the meetings will be held on the second and fourth Thursday which will be May 10th and May 24th.
The Mayor explained, “The reason we have to change those is because we have a deadline that we need to meet on the petition for annexation on the JW Hicks land and we have to have a lot of things done by the council meeting on the 24th of May.”
Though the dates have changed, the meetings will still be held at 7 p.m. in Knox City Hall.
