West Central Teachers Receive Certificates of Achievement

Several teachers with the Indian Trails Career and Technical Cooperative were honored with a certificate of achievement during Thursday night’s West Central School Board meeting, according to Superintendent Don Street.

“Director Jim Stradling presented certificates to three teachers for Outstanding Career and Technical Education,” commented Street. “Jennifer Johns teaches our Health Occupation and CNA program. Stephanie Thilges is our instructor for Family and Consumer Science and Bill Amsler is our welding teacher.”

In addition, Street said Stradling and High School Principal Patrick Culp presented a business partner award to Alliance Bank.

“Alliance Bank does quite a bit for our school. They have started a Junior Directors program where students meet monthly and learn a great deal about businesses and ethics with business. They also help in many other ways with our programs we have at the school.”

The West Central School Board members congratulated the teachers on their efforts and thanked Alliance Bank for their continued support of the corporation.
