County Road 300 North between Johnson Road and County Road 525 West in La Porte County is closed as emergency personnel responds to a fatal house fire in the area.
According to La Porte County Sheriff’s Office representatives, a fire broke out at a home in the 5600 West Block of County Road 300 North and crews are currently working to tame the flames.
