Winamac’s second annual Town Park cleanup day was a success, according to Park Manager Dave DeLorenzo. He says about 38 people took part in the event on April 28. “I appreciate all they did taking up their Saturday morning to come down to the park and pick up sticks and do landscaping and clean up,” he told the park board last week.

DeLorenzo thanked all the individuals and organizations that took part in the cleanup day, including the Pulaski County 4-H Club, 4-H Junior Leaders, Boy Scouts, Northern Indiana Power from the Past, ProscapeS Unlimited, and Down to Earth Landscape & Lawncare.

Meanwhile, the park board agreed to buy a load of dirt, to allow Power from the Past volunteers to repair small holes in the back of the park.
