Officers from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office are holding a security and safety training workshop for places of worship. The facilitators will provide a forum for developing and implementing a plan to address safety needs at places of worship.
The first meeting is set for tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Apostolic Fellowship Hall in Francesville with the second workshop planned for Tuesday, June 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bethel Bible Church, west of Winamac.
Following each meeting, officers will address security needs at individual churches and other places that request an assessment.
Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and key congregational members are welcome to attend these training workshops.
