Railroad crossing repairs on Heaton Street in Knox are on schedule.
Norfolk Southern crews have been working on the track structure since Monday, April 23. The track supervisor recently informed Starke County Highway Superintendent Rik Ritzler that the paving will begin today. The crossing is anticipated to reopen on Thursday, May 3 at 5 p.m., weather permitting. The road may open sooner depending on the paving schedule.
