Music textbooks for elementary school students will be purchased for the next school year at the West Central School Corporation.
Superintendent Don Street said the school board members approved the purchase on Thursday night.
“Mr. Zylstra talked about the McGraw-Hill Spotlight on Music package that was approved by our board,” said Street. “The students will have a hard copy in the classroom as well as a digital copy.”
Street added that the textbook rental fees for next school year will remain relatively unchanged.
“Kindergarten for next year will be $97.87, first grade $128.86, second grade $124.64, third grade $124.71, fourth grade $112.33, and fifth grade $115.15. Sixth grade through 12th grade is dependent upon the electives and courses the students sign up for.”
