Winamac Town Council members are expected to discuss the status of the Local Income Tax (LIT) Issue with the county when they meet tonight at 6 p.m. ET.
The council will also consider a quote for the updated ordinance book and Town Attorney Justin Schramm will discuss arbitrage correspondence. The Jefferson Township fire contract will be up for approval and two ordinances will be considered.
Town Manager Brad Zellers and Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Berger will deliver their reports to the council and there will be time set aside for public input, where T & T fitness and the swimming pool are scheduled to be discussed.
Park Board President Courtney Poor also indicated that he will be present to talk about the parking lot issues outside of the Community Wellness Center of Winamac.
The meeting will be held in the Utilities Complex at 623 West 11th Street.
