The Knox Board of Works members will open bids for 2018 sewer lining and a sewer extension at J.W. Hicks, Inc. when they meet today.
Members will also receive updates on the properties at 1 and 3 N. Main Street and 6 N. Pearl Street. Property owner Melvin Zeiters will also be present to give the board a progress report on some properties that he has been cited for recently.
At a past meeting, Building Administrator Kenny Pfost mentioned that he issued several violations in March for structures on W. Madison Street, W. Maple Street, W. Lewis Street, W. Bender Street, Fear Court and Ostrander Court. Zeiters appeared before the board in May to give an update on progress and will be returning today to discuss what else has been done to address the violations.
Additionally, the company Territorial Engineering will discuss drainage at J.W. Hicks, Inc.
The meeting will be held in Knox City Hall at 9:30 a.m.
