Upgrades to the parking lot at the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation are ongoing as well as concrete work.
Superintendent Dan Foster gave an update on the projects to the school board members this week.
“They’ve milled everything and they have laid some new asphalt in the back parking lots,” explained Foster. “Right now they are out there working on a few of the remaining sidewalks and curbing we have left. Once they get started on the paving it really doesn’t take that long for what’s left. If the weather holds and we can get things going, they could be wrapped up here in the next couple of weeks. Of course that means there’s lot of painting and that kind of stuff for parking spots and handicapped spots and all that kind of stuff that has to go on top of the asphalt.”
Foster said he hopes the entire project can be done by July 1, weather permitting.
Reith-Riley has been doing the work at the corporation.
