U.S. 421 between U.S. 30 and the south junction of State Road 10 in La Porte and Starke Counties will begin Wednesday.
In a notice from the Indiana Department of Transportation, traffic will be reduced to one lane as work is ongoing with flaggers directing traffic. The project is expected to last until October.
The project is part of the Next Level Roads initiative. The investment in transportation infrastructure dedicates $30 billion over the next 20 years to improve the conditions of existing roads and bridges.
