Medaryville Town Council Moving Forward with Water Tower Project

The Medaryville Town Council members continue to work to gather information for a $450,000 grant from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs to move forward with the proposed water tower project. The town would need to provide a 20 percent match toward the grant.

The new water tower will be built on land recently acquired by the town that is located across the street from the Medaryville Town Hall on East Main Street.

One lot was not needed for the water tower project and it was sold to a resident in the amount of $2,025 through a bidding process. The resident plans to build a shed on the property to house yard and other equipment in order to take care of the church and grounds he just purchased.
